Chemical Engineering Safety
We are interested in chemical engineering safety, suppression technology of thermal runaway for lithium-ion batteries, performance verification on materials for industrial safety, fire protection for energy storage system. Our group integrates all the aspects of chemical engineering materials research from investigating thermal runaway mechanism, atomic behavior, and electronic structure to interphase engineering and developing fire-retardant/fire-protection materials.
